Patient education usually begins in the hospital under the direction of Henry Ford Home Infusion’s nurse educators. The teaching session is coordinated with the patient and caregiver which ensures ease of home IV infusion as well as improved outcomes. Comprehensive patient educational manuals are provided to supplement the teaching experience.

Clinical pharmacists are available 7 days/week for consultation with physicians regarding all therapy types. All medications are prepared in Henry Ford Home Infusion’s certified cleanroom in compliance with strict United States Pharmacopeia 797 standards.
